Minuly tyden jsme oslavili  narozeniny  zete,  pochutnali si na sushi a uzivali si krasneho pocasi To se mimochodem jeste zlepsilo a cely velikonocni vikend je nadherne. Proto take zase takova pauza zde na blogu - slunisko nas tahne ven :)

We celebrated our son-in-law birthday last week and enjoyed sushi and really nice weather.  That's why I am not blogging lately since we spend our days outdoors :)

Ja krajela ingredience, Tereza a Neil pilne rolovali a snad ani nemusim podotykat, ze sushi mame vsichni moc radi!

I was cutting the ingredients, Tereza and Neil were rolling and I guess there is no need to say that we LOVE sushi!

Velikonoce se blizi ale ja, diky stale trvajici chripce  nemam nic poradne nachystane :(  Nezdobim, nepecu ale misto toho odpocivam a probiram se  nekonecnou inspiraci na internetu.   Podelim se s vami o tyto dva zajicky :)

Easter is approaching  rather fast, but due to my flu, I am not doing much of decorating or baking.  I am resting most of the time, trying to get better, looking through tons of Easter inspiration and ideas. I'll share these two cute bunnies with you :)

 A nakonec jeste dokoncena decka. Doufala jsem, ze prize kterou jsem ji hackovala je vlna, po dokonceni putovala rovnou do pracky z horkou vodou, kde  krasne zplstnatela nebo se rika zfilcovatela?  Kazdopadne to byl pozadovany efekt a ted je z ni muj novy nakrcnich.

And last but not least is my new neck warmer. The crocheted doily, which I finished by felting it in the washing machine and that turned out just the way I imagined it would.

Velikonoce - Easter

 Preji vam vsem krasny velikonocni vikend plny pohody. Poridili jste si neco noveho aby vas nepokakal beranek, take tuto tradici drzite a nebo mate jine? Ja ji prevzala od sve babicky, ktere mi kazde velikonoce kupovala nove boty, protoze jeden nikdy nevi.........  :)) Ja budu na velikonoce doma z rodinou, jestli bude hezke pocasi tak budem nejspis, jak ja rikam, "pracovne odpocivat" protoze zahradka se probouzi a tak je stale co delat........

 Happy Easter everyone ! How do you celebrate Easter in your family, do you have any traditions  and what are you going to do this weekend?  I am staying home with my family, if the weather stays nice, we'll  be working outside in the garden and in the yard a lot, since there is so much to be done in this time of the year. There will be some relaxing time as well, with good food and baked goodies. Have a good one........

Zmenila jsem vzhled blogu, coz neni nic noveho, delam to celkem casto :) Tentokrat vsak blog dostal nejenom novy kabatek ale i jmeno v zahlavi.
Minuly tyden mi prisly objednane nasivky se stejnym jmenem, prvni z nich jsem pouzila na mou Bellet Fashionista tasku. Jmeno budu pouzivat pro sve tvoreni, je to me zkracene jmeno a prvni pismenko meho prijmeni. Spravne je to MoniO,  vyrobce techto nasivek je bohuzel nabizi jen z velkym pismem.


I changed my blog background, which is nothing new, since I do it quite often :) But this time it's more then that, I also changed the name of the blog in the header.
Last week my order of labels with the same name arrived and I used the first one on the Bellet Fashionista bag. I will use this name for my craft creations. I shorten my first name and added the first letter from my surname.  The correct way is MoniO , unfortunately the label option was just all in capital letters. 

Mazanec,vitr a rodinna vecere :) Sweet bread,wind and family diner :)

Vcera se u nas prehnala vertrna boure, ktera zpusobila vypadky proudu po celem ostrove.Ja jsem si naplanovala rodinnou veceri zrovna tenhle den! Takze deset minut pred tim nez mel mazanec putovat do trouby,asi v jednu odpoledne, naposled zablikala svetylka a bylo po proudu.


Yesterday a wind storm swept through our region and cost lots of power outages on the island.I planned a family supper this exact day! So 10 minutes before the sweet bred was ready for the oven, at around 1 o'clock in the afternoon,the lights flicker for the last time,went out and that was it for the electricity.

Nastesti u dcery k vypadku nedoslo ale pulka mesta takove stesti nemela.Po ceste jsme se museli dvakrat vracet,hlavni silnice byla uzavrena, blokoval ji obrovsky strom ktery strhnul i draty elektrickeho vedeni.Dalsi bocni cestu jsme jen tak tak projeli nez ji take uzavreli.Auto v protismeru melo velike stesti protoze padajici strom jim znicil jen predni naraznik a nikomu se nic nestalo.

So the sweet bread ended up in the pot and with the rest of the ingredients for supper everything was loaded to the car.Good think that my daughter did not lost the power but half of the city wasn't so lucky.On the way there we had to backtrack twice since the main road was block by a big tree that also took down the power lines.We just barely made it through another side road before they close it. A car in the opposite direction was very lucky because the falling tree took off just the front bumper and everyone was OK.

Nakonec jsme v poradku dorazili k Tereze a poskladali se v jejich malem bytecku:) Dokonce i mazanec znovu vykynul a upekl se krasne do zlatova a k nasi velike radosti se tesne pred veceri dostal domu i jeji partner ktery pracoval na ostruvku Hornby kde byl diky vetru zastaven provoz prepravnich lodi.K veceru se ale vitr uklidnil a tak jsme se vsichni stastne sesli !!

Finally we made it to Tereza and filed their little space :))Even the sweet bread rose again and baked to the golden perfection.To our big delight right before dinner Tereza's partner made it home as well.He worked on the Hornby Island and the ferries were not running till the wind died down.So at the end we all happily reunited !

Kdyz jsme se pozde vecer vratili domu, elektrina byla uz opravena.Dnes je krasny jarni den, slunicko sviti a pofukuje jen JEMNY VANEK..............
When we came home late that night,the power was on.Today is a beautiful day,the sun is shining a there is just a LITTLE BREEZE.........

Vice z velikonoc

Pomalu odskrtavam co uz je hotovo. Vcera Dominik barvil vajicka, v patek mel horecku a na fotce je videt, ze mu jeste neni nejlepe ale i tak se do barveni schuti pustil.

I am crossing things that are done on my "to do" list. Yesterday Dominik colored and decorated  eggs . He wasn't felling hundred percent yet, he had fever Friday, but he still enjoy doing it.

Musim take napsat,ze se nam v noci rozprselo a tak je dnes velmi sedivy den.Jak ja miluji slunicko a jak mi hned zvedne naladu.Nejradeji bych se zavrtala zpatky do perin a cely den si cetla.To se ale asi nestane ......

I have to say, that it's raining and gray. Sun always makes me feel happy and I would like to go back to bed today and spend the day in there reading, but that's not going to happen.......

Chtela bych vam vsem poprat krasne Velikonocni svatky.Dnes jsem se pustila do vyzdoby ale bohuzel musim konstatovat,ze mam pred sebou jeste spoustu prace.Nejenom,ze nemam dokoncen uklid ale jeste ani neni napeceno.Ted jsem dovarila vajicka aby se mohl syn zitra vydovadet na jejich zdobeni,testo na vykrajovane susenky uz je od vcerejska v lednici a tak doufam,ze je dnes upecu a snad i dokoncim polevu.
