Just another weekend. . . . .

Zrovna jsem se vratila z "navstevy" tohoto blogu. Moc se mi libi Cecilie obrazy ve francousken stylu a  jeji  " pred a po " upravy ruznych kusu nabytku.  Muzete se tam take zucastnit souteze.

I just visited Cecilia's  Rosslee blog. I like her french stile paintings, her " before and after " furniture makeovers and the whole personal feel of her blog. You can also enter her giveaway.

Tady  je dalsi objev vikendoveho toulani.  I kdyz pri jeho vyrobe potrebujete hacek, nemusite vubec umet hackovat! Vim, ze hodne casto mluvim o tom jak se pustim do toho ci onoho napadu, ktery me kazdou chvili nadchne ale tenhle kosicek je tozhodne na prednim miste meho seznamu :))


Here is another weekend web browsing find and even though you need crochet hook to make it, you don't need to know how to crochet. I know I often say how I will make this and that and never actually find the time but this basket is definitely on the top of my " to do " list.

I prestoze  prsi,  vcera den jsme udelali dost prace a jeste se potesili necekanou navstevu. Zastavili se u nas znami, ktere jsme uz nejaky cas nevideli. Dnes budu zase v kuchyni, zavarovat dalsi dobroty na zimu :)
A jak jste se meli vy?

Despite the rainy weather, we still worked outside in the yard  and also enjoyed  a nice visit with friends,  stopping by unexpectedly yesterday.  I'll be in the kitchen today,  making  yet more can goodies for winter months :))

 Kytovani, brouseni, natirani, polstrovani, proste takove recyklovani stare zidle. Zatim jsou hotove ctyri z deseti ale i to je pokrok, Pracuji na nich postupne, tak rikajic za provozu, protoze ty v puvodnim stavu stale pouzivame u jidelniho stolu. Koupila jsem barvu ktera je zaroven i zakladova ale i tak kazda zidle potrebovala tri natery. Titerna prace a dalsich sest zidli prede mnou :)))

Zapojila jsem se do souteze u Ivy. Bezte se podivat na jeji blog, jeji malby jsou moc hezke a najdete u ni vzdy neco noveho a zajimaveho.

Filling, sanding, painting, upholstering and here it is, recycled chair. So far four of them and six more to go but that's a progress for me. We still use the old ones at the table, that's why I am working  in batches. Even though I bought good paint with primer in it,  it still takes three coats  to have a nice finish.

zavarovacky - mason jars

Natrene lahve, sklenice na zavarovani, vazy, no proste nadoby podle vaseho gusta ted "leti" a neni nouze o ukazky a navody. Muzete bud nastrikat barvou ve spreji nebo natrit a hned mate nadhernou dekoraci.

Painted bottles, mason jars, vases are "in".  Whichever container you like to spray paint or paint the results are very nice, there is plenty of tutorials out there and you end up with your very own unique piece .

Brian Buckrell

Kdysi jsem se tady zminovala o tom ze rada maluji. Kazdy ctvrtek se schazime s partou stejnych nadsencu. Tento tyden jsme zhledly prezentaci Briana Buckrella, ktery nam predvedl svou techniku malby.

I mentioned here before, that I like to paint. I belong to a painting group that meets every Thursday. This week we have a workshop with Brian Buckrell. It was very interesting and lovely day.

Tyhle nadherne kytky jsem nasla na Snowybliss blogu. Snad se vam budou libit tak jako mne a treba si take udelate latkovou kytici :)

šašek - jester

Pomalu postupuji s timto obrazem.Vetsinou maluji jednou tydne se skupinou opravdu fajn lidi.Malujeme par hodin,potom mame hodinu obed a pak znovu na par hodin zpatky k malovani.Od jara do podzimu mame prestavku,protoze kdyz je hezke pocasi je tezke se kazdy tyden schazet.Je to znova skoro za mami a ja bych chtela dodelat tenhle obrazek nez zkoncime :)Zacala jsem malovat pred tremi let,nemela jsem zadny vycvik a mam velke stesti,ze muzu byt ve spolecnosti tehto talentovanych lidi.Dve maji webove stranky. Saskia a Brenda ,at se vam libi :)

I am slowly making progress with this painting.I usually paint once a week with a really nice group of people.We paint for few hours in the morning then have one hour lunch and then back to work for another couple of hours.We have a break from spring to fall because when the weather gets nice it's hard to meet every week.It's almost over again and I want to finish this picture before that :) I started painting three years ago,I had no training but I am very lucky to be in the company of these talented people. Two of them have a website. Saskia and Brenda, enjoy :)
