I am back to spinning for the last few days. I love the natural chocolate color and I am so happy to have more of this fleece. I just have to wash it and card it and, and, and..... I also experimented with dyeing again and ended up with shades of green, brown and even few bits of purple. I like the finished skein.

Zkusili jste si nekdy udelat ricotta syr? Jak rika tahle bogerka, jestli ho nekdy ochutnate, uz ho nikdy nekoupite v obchode. Ja si ho udelala do zeleninove lasagne a malem jsem nemela dost, protoze jsem stale ochunavala :) Recept je opravdu jednoduchy a syr jsem mela hotovy za 15 minut.
Potrebujete :
4 hrnky plnotucneho mleka
1 hrnek podmasli
1/3 hrnky smetany ( ja pouzila cerstve nadojene mleko a tak jsem smetanu vynechala)
spetku soli
Tekutiny dejte do hrnce a zahrejte na 185 C. Jestli nemate teplomer nevadi, kdyz vidite, ze se vam vytvorily "hrudky" je hotovo. Precedte prez platno, nebo gazu, osolte (nebo ne) a nechte chvilku vykapat na hustotu, jakou mate radi. Ja mam plateny pytlik a ten jsem na chvilu zatizila a ricotta bylo skoro moc sucha, takze opatrne, jde to opravdu rychle :)
Zbylou syrovatku muzete pouzit misto vody pri peceni chleba, ja ji pridavam do mych ovocnych a zeleninovych stav, ktere si kazdy den delam. Muzete sni zadelat treba vdolecky a jiste najdete i dalsi pouziti. Pri nejhorsim ji rozredim a zaliju kytky. Zde najdete vic informaci o syrovatce.
I made ricotta cheese following this recipe and as she says, if you try it and taste it, you will never go back to store bought ricotta. I made veggie lasagne with it and had a hard time to stop sampling so I would have enough for my dish :) It was truly the best I ever tasted, especially made from fresh raw milk!
